Pob Lwc Michael!

Last night we had to say goodbye to Michael John, an enthusiastic young chef who is about to embark on his professional career. Michael has been with us since he was a first year catering student at Coleg Menai in Bangor. He has come a long way since then and has been a great help to us - allowing Martin to have an occasional day off!

Last year Michael competed on S4C's "Chez Dudley" - an amateur cooking competition with the grand prize being a a four-day course at Raymond Blanc's cookery school Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons, near Oxford. Michael did very well, even making it into the final and went to Provence to try his luck. Unfortunately he didn't win, but he's now got a second chance - this time as an employee - as he has been hired to work at the cookery school and will start his new job next week.
